Customized color profiles

 Simple and flexible, the EFI Color Profiler is based on EFI’s leadership in developing digital color profiles and tools for use by the most demanding color professionals. It is a turnkey application that enables the creation of ICC profiles with CMYK digital printers (ICC profiles accurately describe the color response of printers and can be used in PCs, Macintosh® systems, and EFI servers). The Profiler appeals to both the novice and advanced user. No matter what your level of expertise, the Color Profiler lets you create ICC profiles. The Profiler is an easy-to-use profiling solution that accurately describes the color response of any color printer that supports ICC profiles. Color Profiler is a client-based system that can be used with PCs or Macs.

The Spectrometer ES-1000 is a fast, handheld, color-measurement device. It measures the full visible spectrum of light reflected from color samples. The information is read instantly at the click of a button, offering a fast and accurate measurement.
The Spectrometer can also be used as a densitometer to measure daily color fluctuations of the printer for calibration purposes. When used to create ICC profiles, the Spectrometer measures up to 928 color patches to ensure accurate measurement results.

Standard workflow
To generate a complete profile takes only three steps:
  1. Print patches with Adobe® Acrobat™
  2. Measure patches
  3. Create profile
Custom workflow
  1. Integrates seamlessly with customized
    workflow(s)
  2. Prepares patch pages that are suitable for practically any CMYK printer. Users set options on “Profiler Print Options” and “Advanced Print Options” screens
  3. Patch pages prepared in PDF format can be saved as TIFF or EPS, integrated into actual jobs, downloaded or sent through a printer driver with device-specific (PPD) commands
  4. Can import spectral measurements from other tools
