EFI Scan This powerful scanning module for production environments gives you the ability to easily import paper documents into digital production workflow. Documents can be scanned in via a TWAIN-complaint scanner, automatically converted to PDF format for editing, and sent to the EFI Balance server for electronic copying and processing. Scans can also be imported into EFI Build for merging and imposition with other digital documents. Pixel Editing from the EFI Scan User Interface. EFI Scan offers integrated access to third party pixel-editing applications - such as PixEdit® from TechsoftUSA - right from its user interface. Pixel editing is useful for scanning applications that may require the advance raster editing capabilities of specialized software. (These 3rd party applications are not offered by EFI and must be obtained by the customer.)
