RasterPlus Windows Edition
Features:
Automatic Index Printing
Just click the Index Print icon and all the files in the Hold Pane will appear on an index print.
Simply specify the number of images you want on a page, choose filename printing - on or off, and RasterPlus does the rest.
Now it's simple to create proof sheets, one-page PowerPoint presentations, and quick album pages.
Print to any Windows printer
With Printer Cloaking in RasterPlus 5 you can turn any installed printer into a RasterPlus printer
and get all the benefits of RasterPlus: color management, PostScript printing, soft-proofing, package printing,
index printing, and more. For example, you can print photo packages on your HP Deskjet printer. Or, turn your Epson
Stylus into a Postscript printer. Or, use your inkjet printer as a pre-press proofer.
High Definition Preview
Now you can soft proof at the same resolution as your target device. The RasterPlus HD Preview window
even lets you zoom and pan into the image to check for the smallest defects or errors in your output before you consume media.
Improved JPEG and TIFF output
Now you get smoother, better looking output because RasterPlus 5 lets you choose between bilinear or bicubic
interpolation for printing JPEG and TIFF files - like Photoshop.
Built-in Internet reprinting
Now you can easily print customer files sent to your business via email or web-upload using the optional
Photogize.Lab client (purchased separately.).
Visual Print Workflow
The power of RasterPlus has never been easier to use. With the new 3-step visual print workflow, incoming
files are placed in a Hold area where they can be previewed and released.
Once approved, files go to a Print engine that quickly renders files to the device resolution. After printing, all files are
collected in an Archive for future reprints.
Each step is managed independently, so you can now preview and print files at the same time.
PostScript Level 3 Engine
RasterPlus raises performance printing to a new level: PostScript 3. With its PostScript 3 engine,
RasterPlus delivers rich graphics capabilities that fulfill the requirements of imaging professionals. Print quality is
superb - with smooth shading technology that renders gradient blends at the targeted device resolution.
Drag-and-Drop Printing
You can drag-and-drop files or whole folders to RasterPlus without first loading them into an application
to print, saving valuable time. RasterPlus directly prints over 20 file formats including new support for PostScript 3,
PDF, EXIF, and multi-page GIF along with PostScript Level 2, EPS, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PCX, TARGA, SUN Raster, MAC PICT,
CALS, GEM Image, Portable Network Graphics, Kodak Photo CD, Kodak FlashPix, MacPaint, Microsoft Paint, and native Photoshop PSD.
Native PDF Processing
RasterPlus includes native PDF processing to its extensive file format list. Your clients can preview
files in Adobe Acrobat and send you the same file for consistent print workflow. Simply drop the PDF file to the queue and
it will automatically print.
Web-Ready Print Logs
PEach print is recorded with the time and owner name so you can easily account for your print jobs.
Better yet, the print log can be accessed and printed within RasterPlus or from any web browser on the network.
Enterprise Networking
RasterPlus is a true network print server because its printers can be published on the network to any
Macintosh or Windows client. Now each print queue can be published independently, so clients can have their own queue with
properties tailored to meet their needs. Simply File-Print from your favorite client application and RasterPlus will do the rest.
Tab-View Print Queues
Because RasterPlus Windows Edition is a true multi-task print application, several print queues can be
used at once. Each print queue can be assigned different properties and even different printers, all operating at the same time.
To easily manage each print queue, an intuitive Tab View is used so you can quickly switch from one to another.
Color Management
Color Management with TrueGraphx RasterPlus puts you in control of your color printing with the all new
TrueGraphx color management system. By integrating TrueGraphx as part of the internal rendering pipeline, all printers can
now be color managed. Simple adjustments to hue, contrast, and GCR/UCR are made on a color curve and applied to any print
file. Advanced ICC color transformations can also be made by selecting the desired RGB, CMYK, Printer, Preview and Prepress
ICC profiles. Never before have you had so much control over how your colors print.
Digital Photo Package Printing
RasterPlus includes package printing for theFuji Pictrography, Kodak 86xx series, Gretag Netprint/Mileca,
Kodak-Noritsu DLS minilab and Sony UPD70 printers.
With dozens of standard templates to pick from, the perfect package print is just a click away. You’ll save money, reduce waste
and increase production by automatically printing multiple images at the same time.
Add PackagePlus and create customized photo packages to use with RasterPlus. Your creativity can run free with unlimited image
frames, image overlays, customized cropping, colored borders and multiple page packages.
Automatic Internet Updates
RasterPlus now features an internet update client that automatically connects to the Graphx web server
and lets you download new RasterPlus components. Keeping your RasterPlus current is now just a click away.

Automatic Save State
Once you tailor RasterPlus to your liking, it automatically saves before you quit. The next time you
start RasterPlus, all program settings, including print queues and window sizes, are restored to the way you left them.
Integrated Font Management
RasterPlus incldues a manager for adding PostScript Type 1 fonts needed in processing EPS or Postscript
files that do not include fonts. Also when directly File-Printing to RasterPlus, all the necessary fonts are automatically
included before printing. Either way, you can finally say goodbye to font substitution errors.
